Father & Son Weekend

  • Rolling Ridge Retreat 691 Christ Church Road Harpers Ferry, WV, 25425 United States (map)

Come away for a weekend with your son in nature! Share fun activities and meaningful conversations in the company of other dads/sons. You could be surprised by how much you learn about each other and how your bonds are strengthened. (Granddads and grandsons also welcome.)

As important as sports and regular family activities are, something magical happens to men and boys in the wilderness. Aided by a wild expansiveness, night darkness illuminated by millions of stars and planets, and guided conversation around a flickering fire, men experience being alive in the enchanting, self-organizing mystery into which they were born.

In this setting, men and boys become open to new ways of seeing, thinking, and being. Both have time to connect, explore, and step outside of their regular routines and distractions. Prompts and rituals encourage conversations that go way deeper than the typical "How was school today?" convo in the car. It's amazing what boys and dads can discover about each other. We also offer ways to maintain this level of communication when you return to your daily life. We also provide ways to maintain this level of communication when you return to your daily life.

This is a rustic, camping weekend in nature. Dads and sons should bring tents, sleeping bags, and outdoor gear. Healthy meals are provided.

$450 per pair
