Return of the Prodigal Son

Building on key elements of the Men’s Rites of Passage (MROP)—including the call to accountability, the journey from the false self to the true self, and the wisdom of “dying before you die”—Illuman of Minnesota invites men into a challenging summer retreat rooted in the spirituality of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32).

Set in the quiet beauty of Osprey Wilds, this weekend experience offers a deeper journey of return, identity, and belonging. The retreat extends the work of the MROP through solitude in the wilderness, meaningful one-on-one sharing, and deep ritual. Whether or not they have been initiated, men will find in this retreat an important next step in their spiritual journey.

The retreat includes a 24-hour silent overnight camping and fasting experience. Please bring a tent.
