The Deep Masculine Journey 2027
What’s calling you deeper?
There are seasons in a man’s life when familiar answers no longer feel sufficient. You may find yourself asking deeper questions about who you’re becoming, what needs to be healed or released, and what your life is asking of you now.
The Deep Masculine Journey is an eight-month Illuman program designed for men ready to explore those questions more deeply. Drawing on the work of Bill Plotkin, the Animas Valley Institute, Richard Rohr, Robert Bly, James Hollis, Marion Woodman, and others, the journey explores the True Self, shadow, wholeness, purpose, and the Sacred Masculine through nature-based spiritual practice.
From February through September 2027, participants will take part in three in-person wilderness immersions, monthly Virtual Councils, and monthly one-on-one mentoring with trained guides. Practices will include dream tending, shadow work, grief work, self-designed ceremony, Council, mirroring, and solo time in the wild. The final immersion is an eight-day vision quest experience in Arizona.
