The Ocean of God’s Love: A Men’s Writing Retreat Inspired by Rumi

A Journey Inward Through Word and Wonder

Join us for a weekend retreat that invites the heart to open through the power of story, stillness, and the poetry of the mystics. Guided by the words of Jalaluddin Rumi—beloved Sufi poet and seeker—we’ll reflect, write, and gather in Council to deepen our connection with the Divine, one another, and our own inner landscape.

Rumi’s images of longing, union, and divine love have echoed across centuries. Though he lived an ocean away and eight centuries ago, his insights speak with uncanny relevance to the soul’s journey today.

Together, we will explore:

  • How the language of poetry can reconnect us with wonder and authenticity

  • What it means to listen deeply—to the voice within, to sacred text, and to each other

  • How writing can become both prayer and practice

No previous writing experience is required. Whether you journal regularly or haven’t written since school, you are welcome here.
