Wrestling with Power: A Practice in Radical Belonging
For many men, our understanding of power has been shaped by experiences of authority, control, competition, and vulnerability. Some of us have learned to use power to protect ourselves or maintain control, while others have come to distrust our own power or hesitate to claim it. Yet power can also be a source of compassion, courage, connection, and service.
In this weekend gathering, we’ll explore our personal stories about power, how they shape our understanding of ourselves and others, and how we might develop a healthier relationship with the power we carry. Through contemplative practice, inner work, Council, drumming, singing, and brotherhood, we’ll create space to listen deeply, engage our shadows, and discover new ways of relating to one another.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to cultivate the generative power of the sacred masculine: a power rooted in love rather than fear, exercised with humility and responsibility, and offered in service to the healing and wholeness of ourselves, our communities, and the world.
