First Rites: Young Men Rising
Moving from boyhood through adolescence has never been easy. These days, it can be downright treacherous. Life can feel tough and lonely sometimes. It’s hard to know what’s real in a world full of negative stereotypes and pressure to fit into somebody else’s narrow definition of masculinity. Without intentional rites of initiation, guided by elders, guys often resort to risky behaviors to prove themselves.
At this camp, you’ll find safe, meaningful ways to rise to the challenges of being a young man. By spending three days in nature, you’ll build real bonds with other guys your age and authentic men by overcoming challenges, playing games, and discovering what it means to be a young man rising.
You’ll Walk Away With:
Greater self-awareness
Boosted self-confidence
Increased readiness to face life's challenges
What to Expect

Real Talk: Build trust and communicate honestly about what matters in your life.
Supportive Staff: A crew of experienced men, many fathers and grandfathers, is here to listen to you, challenge you in healthy ways, and support your discovery of what’s authentic for you.
Are you ready to rise?
