Good Humor is Divine!: A Morning of Joy and Healing with David Fessell

There’s nothing quite like a good laugh to lift our spirits, spark connections, and remind us that joy is possible. Humor is a powerful gift. When used well, it energizes and bonds us. And when used poorly it can be a source of lasting pain and harm.

That’s why we’re gathering for a workshop on “Good Humor” -- what it is, why it matters, and how we can share more of it in ways that are life-giving and aligned with our values.

Bring your favorite jokes, funny stories, and sources of good humor (appropriate for Illuman and a spiritually themed setting). Come ready to engage, share, reflect -- and yes, laugh.

Because joy is serious business…and laughter just might be a sacred practice!

David Fessell is a prolific author, an Initiated Man, international speaker, and executive coach. He is a faculty associate at Ross School of Business and a retired Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan. He received his MD degree at the University of Michigan, his undergraduate degree from Harvard and is a graduate of the Second City Improv Conservatory. David has led seminars across the country on the gifts of humor and is the author of 16 Ways to Create Happiness, Every Day.
